An unmixed test of combining the recordings I made from the countryside and the city. I came to the conclusion that this is an underwhelming idea, partly because these sounds could easily be perceived as sounds that can be found in the city. For instance, the recording of the stream found around 4 minutes could easily be related to the sounds of a water fountain. For this idea to work I would need a visual element to inform the listener of their surroundings. I think this would be well suited for VR or a medium more immersive than just stereo audio.
